Terms for Returns and Exchanges
PICCOLI PETS guarantees the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, referring to Legislative Decree 22/05/1999, n. 185 "Implementation of Directive 97/7/EC on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts" and subsequent amendments.
The Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal no later than 10 days from the date of receipt of the goods. This right must be exercised by sending written notice by registered letter with return receipt to:

Notice may also be sent, within the same period, by e-mail addressed to info@piccolipets.it provided it is confirmed by registered letter with return receipt within the next forty-eight (48) hours.
The Customer may also avail himself/herself of the right to exchange an item for the same item of another size or color if it is available. Delivery of the same item will be at the customer's expense, and the customer will be responsible for the cost of redelivery.
The goods must be returned to PICCOLI PETS intact, in unaltered condition, complete with the original packaging, at the customer's expense, no later than 15 days after notice of withdrawal. PICCOLI PETS will credit the sums paid (excluding the costs of the first shipment in the case of a total withdrawal from the order) within a maximum of 30 days from the date on which PICCOLI PETS became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the customer and in any case not before receiving the return shipment and checking the condition of the goods subject to withdrawal. The costs and risks associated with the return of the products will be borne by the buyer.
The right of withdrawal may not be exercised from a contract that has as its object the supply of one or more of the following products:
1.) Customized items;
2.) Items specially made to the customer's order.
It should be noted that EU regulations provide that the Right of Withdrawal can be exercised only by natural persons (consumers) acting for purposes that can be considered unrelated to their commercial activity. The Right of withdrawal, therefore, CANNOT be exercised by legal persons and natural persons acting for purposes related to a commercial activity. Also excluded from the Right of Withdrawal are purchases made by resellers or individuals who in any capacity purchase for resale to third parties. The right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or alter rapidly. It should also be noted that, in the case of prize operations (so-called promotions), in which the purchase of one good is combined with another good that is sold at a derisory price or even given as a gift, the right of withdrawal will be legitimately exercised with the return of both goods purchased, given the constraint of the ancillary nature of the promoted good with respect to the first.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Within the period of 10 (ten) days after delivery of the goods, the Customer may withdraw from the contract without giving any explanation.
However, a brief statement of the reasons for the withdrawal is welcome, although it is not required by law. The withdrawal must be communicated to Piccoli Pets by registered letter with return receipt to the following address: Piccoli Pets in Via Francesco Barbieri, 102 - 40129 Bologna.
Notwithstanding the legislative provisions of art. 5 n.4 of Legislative Decree n.185/1999, notice of withdrawal may be made by e-mail within 10 days of receipt of the order to the address info@piccolipets.it
The Customer may also make use of the right to exchange an item for the same item of another size or color if it is available. Delivery of the same item will be at the customer's expense, and the customer will be responsible for the cost of redelivery.
RETURN OF GOODS
The return of the goods does not automatically imply a valid right of withdrawal from the contract if you do not follow the procedure indicated above, i.e. contact by email or registered mail with return receipt our Customer Service and receive authorization to return the goods and an indication of the modalities.
The right of withdrawal can be exercised only in the event that the products purchased have not been used and are within the original packaging intact, complete with any instruction manuals. As per the terms of the law, garments or items made to the Customer's specifications, personalized or ruined and/or altered garments cannot be returned.
The cost of returning the goods to the supplier shall be borne by the Customer, who may use the courier chosen by Piccoli Pets and which will be communicated by email, unless otherwise agreed upon. Piccoli Pets is not responsible for theft, loss or damage occurring during shipment, the responsibility for which falls entirely on the Customer.
The return of garments or accessories must be received, within 10 days of authorization, at the logistics headquarters of Piccoli Pets in Via Francesco Barbieri, 102 40129 Bologna, Italy. Download the return form here.
In the case of returns, customs fees are always the responsibility of the customer.
Custom made garments cannot be returned.
CONDITIONS FOR THE RETURN OF GOODS
1. The garments must not have been worn, washed or altered and must show no signs of use and be in perfect condition.
2. Each garment must be returned including all labels, packaging and original accessories (hangers, dustbags) that may have been received with the order and any free gifts.
3. Returns must be shipped original to: Piccoli Pets at Via Francesco Barbieri, 102 40129 Bologna, Italy.
Returns sent with Italian Postal Service will not be accepted.
Piccoli Pets will not accept returned merchandise if the return does not comply with all terms and conditions set forth in the return policy. In such cases, the merchandise will be returned to the sender at the original shipping address.
Piccoli Pets will refund the cost of the products paid by the customer at the time of the order calculated net of outward shipping charges and any ancillary costs associated with the payment (4% of the total paid with Paypal). The refund will be made by the same method chosen for payment.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised in accordance with the above, the seller will refund the Customer no later than 30 days after receipt of the statement of withdrawal.
In the event that the price was paid by credit card, the supplier will credit the amount to the consumers' card through the card issuer. For orders paid by Paypal, the amount will be returned to the original account. The Customer, upon request, will be eligible for a personal shopping voucher in the amount equal to the returned merchandise usable within 120 days. In the event that the customer receives verified defective products or shipping errors on the part of Piccoli Pets, the customer is required to follow the same instructions as above, but the shipping costs for re-sending the product will be borne entirely by Piccoli Pets.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Cancellation of an order is possible provided that:
1. The status of the order is not yet confirmed/in preparation
2. If the cancellation is requested once the order has entered production or even shipped, the return procedure should be followed
If payment has already been made, the refund will be issued on the same method chosen by the customer for payment, in the shortest possible time, less any ancillary costs imposed by the payment provider chosen by the customer (4% of the total paid with PayPal).
